About Me
One of the tidbits about me is that I love to sew!! I quit my job in the social services five years ago and bought a sewing machine that cost more than my first used car. (which was a lonnngg time ago) It was a impulse buy...not that I recommend impulse buying. But, I have no regrets. I sewed my way through some hard moments...Sometimes we lose our way. I needed a compass (my Bible) my family (my heart) my garden (110 rose bushes)a puppy named Louie and a new sewing machine. Sewing took me back to the basics...long summers days with my Auntie Mame carefully instructing me on sewing a straight seam. learning to do something over and over again, until you get it right. During that time more than a dress was sewn... It bought back memories of what is truly important, what I value and treasure...back to the basics...Thank you Mame!

Oh, another beautiful creation by you! I know you must be busy, because I hadn't seen you post in a while! I am getting ready to leave for another show, on Thursday of this week.
Have a great week, love the "Colonial Days"!
